Rainbow is co-artistic director of The Offshore Project along side Ezra Dickinson. Rainbow is also the choreographer and a founding member of the Can Can Castaways. After earning her B.F.A. in Dance from Cornish College of the Arts, Rainbow danced for Donald Byrd in Spectrum Dance Theater. She has studied Taekwondo and has earned her Black Belt Certification. Her choreography for The Offshore Project, "Karyotype 46/XY" and "The Buffoon", were both presented in Northwest New Works Festival at On The Boards. "The Buffoon" was a finalist in The A.W.A.R.D. Show! 2011. She has been commissioned to choreograph various pieces individually and collaboratively with Ezra Dickinson for Coriolis Dance Collective. Rainbow was mentioned on the Theater Shortlist for the Stranger's Genius Awards in 2010.. She has performed with the Castaways across the northwest including Bumbershoot, Seattle International Cabaret Festival, and annual performances at The Triple Door. Rainbow was honored to choreograph "Refined Slang" for dance department students in Cornish Dance Theater (2011). In 2013 she was invited to participate in TEDx Tacoma where she gave a talk on "Desire". Recently she has been featured in various music videos including: Body Builder, by Jules Leotard, Fantasea by Vockah Redu & Cru, and as a dancer and choreographer for While I'm Alive, by STRFKR. She will be showing her newest work, When Jupiter and Saturn Met, in Northwest New Works Festival at On The Boards in June 2014. Rainbow has directed, choreographed, and performed in over a dozen shows with the Castaways, including their newest work, CHICHI. You can catch her performing with the Castaways year round at Can Can.
