Nana Yaw Yeboah

I'm a storyteller from Ghana who creates films that come from the heart.  Storytelling is a core part of who I am and it's a way to seek meaning in this fast changing world.  Being a filmmaker is a privelage that I don't take lightly.  I often choose to work based on projects that push the boundaries of creativity while challenging both myself and my audience to ask questions and look at humanity with a critical eye.

As a Ghanaian filmmaker, I am especially drawn to stories that are important to Africans and people of the African diaspora.  I've worked on several documentary projects including a television series that covered women's health and films that brought attention to serious environmental issues.  As a director,  I've led a number of projects in African countries and have had my films screened at film festivals around the world.
