Damon DiMarco is the author or co-author of several books including Tower Stories: An Oral History of 9/11, My Two Chinas: The Memoir of a Chinese Counterrevolutionary (with Baiqiao Tang), and two collaborations with world renowned acting teacher, William Esper (The Actor's Art & Craft and The Actor's Guide to Creating a Character).
Damon's plays include Shock & Awe (based on his book Heart of War: Soldiers' Voices from the Front Lines of Iraq) and Mariners: a Full-Length Play with Music, co-written with playwright Jeffrey Harper. As an actor, he has played featured or recurring roles in prime time and daytime TV, but has also appeared in commercials, independent films, regional theaters, and trade shows.
Damon has been a guest on national television and radio, including CNN, The National Geographic Channel, FOX, and the Premiere Radio Network. He initiated and currently teaches a class in writing for public intellectuals in the PhD History and Culture program at Drew's Caspersen School of Graduate Studies.
