LAURA NAPIER is a New York City based artist exploring behavior, sociology, and place through participatory performance and installation.
Napier has shown solo installations with PS122 Gallery and The Bronx Blue Bedroom Project, both in New York City, and also recently exhibited and performed locally with NURTUREart, HERE Arts Center, and No Longer Empty at the Andrew Freedman Home in the Bronx, nationally with The Contemporary Arts Center in Las Vegas and The Hatchery Art Spaces in California, and internationally with MMX Open Art Venue in Berlin and NIV Art Centre in New Delhi, among others.
She studied at Cooper Union (BFA, 1998), and Bard College (MFA, 2007).
