Krista Elrick is an American photographer who explores visual intersections between nature and culture.

Since 1990 she has completed four public art commissions, three books and numerous exhibitions. The National Endowment for the Arts, Phoenix Arts Commission, Seattle Arts Commission, New Mexico Council on Photography and the Ike Royer Memorial Award have recognized her work with grants and awards. Krista's latest publication, Through the Lens: Creating Santa Fe, (Elrick, Redding) received a PubWest Gold Medallion Book Award in 2009. 

Krista received a Master of Fine Arts in Photography from Arizona State University (1990), and a B.A. degree from Hampshire College (1980). She lives with her husband in a house they build together near Santa Fe, New Mexico. For more information please visit,
