Erica Rebollar was born in Madrid, began studies at the Washington School of Ballet, and completed her MFA in choreography at UCLA. Erica danced with Eko Supriyanto, Li Chiao-Ping, Carol McDowell, Namah Ensemble, touring nationally and internationally. She produced her first show in Seattle in 1999, and after receiving ACDFA's National Choreographer Award with Dance Magazine, BYU commissioned the choreography. Erica was a three time Lester Horton Award nominee for performance and choreography in Los Angeles, where she produced several evenings of work. 

Erica received artistic residency through Mabou Mines Suites in New York City, showing full-length works at PS 122 and St. Mark's Church. She was the recipient of funding through Joyce Soho's A.W.A.R.D show, and performed in various dance festivals at Judson Church, Dance Theatre Workshop (now NY Live Arts), Tribeca Performing Arts Center, and the Flea. 

Upon moving back to DC, Erica performed her choreography at Velocity Dance Festival /Harman Hall, Joy of Motion's Dance Project, and in collaboration with theatre company Force/Collision at Navy Yards Park. She received Kennedy Center's Local Dance Commissioning Project grant, with evening-length performances on the Millennium Stage and Dance Place, with work at Roundhouse Theatre and Theatre Project/Baltimore. Erica Rebollar/Rebollar Dance was made a "Top Pick" of Washington City Paper's Fall Arts Guide, highlighted in "Most Memorable Dance Performances of 2011", and nominated for a Metro DC Dance Award in "Outstanding New Work".

Her upcoming full-length work Space Junk (to be premiered at City Dance's Studio Theatre at Strathmore) has been highlighted in City Paper's 2012 Falls Arts Guide. In 2013, Rebollar Dance will premiere evening length works Cardinal Points at Atlas' Intersections Festival, and Good Hurt at American Dance Institute's Incubator Residency Program. Erica received a Creative Communities Fund grant through the Mead Theatre Lab Project/Cultural DC (in collaboration with City Dance) and Fairfax County Art Council's Strauss Fellowship. Erica will also premiere commissioned works for Dance Ethos Company and Peter DiMuro's upcoming collaboration, Future Preludes. Erica continues to focus attention on Rebollar Dance, where multi-genre artists can make innovative work.
