American Romanticist, Alvaro Guevara y Vazquez was born in the Northern State of Sonora, Mexico in the Spring of 1962 to a Spanish-Italian family of intellectuals, artists and social revolutionaries descendants of 12th Century Count, Vela of Alava, Prince of Navarra, Imperial Spain.
For the past thirty five years he has been a composer and pianist.
He studied piano with Professor, Jesse Alvarado a pupil of a student of Russian composer, Sergei Rachmaninoff and with Professor, Ruth van Birkhoff of Harvard University.
He began his glorious journey in music quite late in his life, but in the past thirty five years he has accomplished a great many things.
His music is romantic by nature and embodies his finest thoughts and feelings.
His works have been well received by the general public, colleagues and connoisseurs, obtaining many top ten rankings and recognitions.
He has composed a large collection of published piano works in the Romantic style, that he has performed throughout the last thirty years in concerts and recitals.
