Joe Craven & Stanton West Team Up To Create A Concept Album About Birds

by Ed Lemar

WI

Birds inspire us to be more.  Birds were once lizards that sprouted wings and took flight to become something better.  Their story is our story.  Each song is a chapter about an injured songbird who takes flight from the nest, has many adventures amidst friends and foes, and returns home transformed.

The new concept album, Songbird, written by award-winning songwriter Edward "Stanton" Lemar and produced by creative genius Joe Craven, will be recorded on May 14-18 at Foxtail Studio.   It will be released Summer 2017.

Joe Craven & Ed met at Feel Good Music & Art Festival in 2006.  They realized instantly that they were musical brothers who shared a love of music, travel, percussion, and songbirds.  They have both had outstanding solo careers and are now teaming up to create a new audio adventure in the folk tradition.

This journey starts where it always does. Where all was well with the world.  Then calamity and chaos create pandemonium. There is a call to adventure. Then hard times and turmoil must be endured, a Love Story, and a shining moment when everything comes to Light... and all is good again.

We are so grateful that you are interested in collaborating with us on this project!  Please share with your friends & family.

In Harmony,

Joe Craven & Stanton West
