Through this campaign we hope to raise a maximum of $75,000 to support the HDTS 2013 event.
On October 12, 2013 High Desert Test Sites will embark on HDTS 2013, our ninth event in a series of free ranging and ever evolving contemporary art programs. This year our week-long journey will showcase 60 amazing projects along a vast stretch of territory between Joshua Tree, California and Albuquerque, New Mexico. Both artists and audience alike will traverse over 700 miles of desert highways as we participate in a fully immersive experience and explore hidden gems in the deserts of the southwestern United States.
High Desert Test Sites is a labor of love, and for years our project has been self-funded and made possible by an extraordinary team of dedicated volunteers. However we are at the brink of what our resources will permit, and we need your help. With our maximum goal of $75,000, your support will help us promote HDTS 2013 through publicity and will also help us to cover the the costs of catalogs, site maps, and event fees. We hope to raise even more than our listed amount because every dollar over what is necessary for the event itself will go directly to the artists and their impressive projects. This is our first fundraiser ever and our sole source of funding for the 2013 event.
Please help us to continue doing what we do! There are so many exciting and deeply committed artists involved in HDTS 2013 and even being able to subsidize basic expenses such as artist travel and lodging will be a huge help. Your donation is totally tax-deductible and any amount will make a huge difference. All donors will be mentioned in the HDTS 2013 catalog and on the HDTS website, plus donors at the Kit Fox level and higher will receive a special HDTS care package made with love in Joshua Tree.
Thank you so much!
