We have made our goal, thanks to all of you who have contributed to our fundraiser! A heartfelt THANK YOU from Bruce Conkle and myself. We are off to the Gobi Desert for the 2nd Land Art Biennial 360? Mongolia and will be posting updates when we are able to find an internet connection.
This is going to be an incredible journey and I’m looking forward to learning about Mongolia, staying in a ger (yurt), gilding rocks in the Gobi Desert, and hopefully sampling some airag beverages (fermented mare’s milk)… I'll be making many photographs and some video along the way, and will share when we return.
Hand drawn postcards will be mailed from Mongolia for those who have selected that perk, and we will fulfill the rest of the perks after we return to the USA.
Please know that we sincerely appreciate your contributions towards making this unique opportunity a reality!
    XO Marne and Bruce
ps. Please enjoy the fantastical photo of Bruce and I as sand folks in the Gobi! (The little guy is a burl-headed translator.)
