Posted June 05, 2012We did it! We walked 500+ miles! Stay tuned for stories from the trail, including adventurous days of rafting, facing weather conditions of all kinds, and encounters with snakes and spiders and bears (oh my!), plus breathtaking views from mountaintops and heart-aching views of mountaintop removal.
A HUGE thank you to all of those who have contributed so far and have made this incredible walk possible. We are still about $4000 from our fundraising goal, so please tell your friends about this project and ask for them to support Dance Exchange.
Don't forget to visit 500miles500stories.com to see the stories we've collected so far from on and off the trail. Deal yourself a card to contribute your own story to this project.
Posted May 29, 2012It has been an incredible journey so far, and it's hard to believe we're in the home stretch. We hope to be to the mountains by this weekend. The trail has been full of ups and downs, and we've found ways to navigate through all kinds of conditions, hardships, and unexpected turns. A few photos from some great days on the trail... looking forward to sharing many more stories upon my return.
