For over 75 years, the Hambidge Center has awarded residency fellowships to distinguished artists, writers, musicians, dancers and scientists at our 600-acre creative sanctuary in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Offering residencies lasting from two weeks to two months, Hambidge has 9 secluded cottage/studios which provide living and working space, great views, lots of privacy, kitchens and bathrooms. Residents are provided with a communal vegetarian meal each evening Tuesday through Friday. Located in Rabun Gap, Georgia, the beautiful campus features nature trails, meadows, waterfalls, a swimming hole, and an abundance of wild flowers and crisp, clean mountain air.
