Kendra Bulgrin attended the University of Wisconsin Whitewater where she received a BFA with an emphasis in painting and a minor in Japanese Cultural Studies in 2005. Bulgrin completed her MFA in interdisciplinary arts at Memphis College of Art in 2007. She has taught art at multiple Universities including, Emporia State University, University of Wisconsin- Green Bay and the University of Wisconsin- Whitewater.
Bulgrin has shown nationally and internationally, with shows at the Brooks Museum of Art, Memphis, the Museum of Wisconsin Art, West Bend, WI and at Beijing Normal University, China. Currently she is a self-employed painter, owner of Big Lake Gallery, and a co-creator with Jimmy Eddings of Everett's Mugs.
Everett's mugs is an organization that raises awareness of congenital heart defects, autism and chromosome disorders through the use of handmade mugs decorated by children.
