Erin M. Riley is a visual artist based in Brooklyn, NY. She has been an Artist in Residence at Bemis Center for Contemporary Art, VCCA, Emmanuel College, the MacDowell Colony, McColl Center for Visual Art and received a full VSC fellowship at Vermont Studio Center in Johnson, VT. She has exhibited all over the United States and internationally in London, Ireland and Australia. Awarded Best in Show at Radius 250 in Richmond, Va, a LEAP award finalist at the Society for Contemporary Craft in Pittsburgh, PA, the Kittredge Foundation Grant, and two Barbara L. Kulhman Foundation grants. Her work has been published in Lotto Magazine, New American Painting, FiberArts, Surface Design Journal, Foam Magazine and in 1000 Artisan Textiles and the forthcoming text The Graphic Art of the Underground: A Countercultural History from Bloomsbury Publishing.
