Fleishhacker Foundation

The Fleishhacker Foundation is a family philanthropy established in 1947. There are two grantmaking programs serving the San Francisco Bay Area: Arts & Culture, and Precollegiate Education. 

Both the Small Grants in the Arts and the Special Arts Grants are focused on helping Bay Area artists to create new work and build local audiences for their work. Grants are made to nonprofit arts organizations primarily for artistic development projects. The priority is mid-sized organizations. Independent filmmakers may apply under the Small Grants in the Arts program if they have a fiscal sponsor.
